IOWA MUSIC AWARDS · COMMUNITY

Your event.
A bigger stage.

Iowa music doesn’t stop at the awards ceremony. Neither should the conversation.

IMA News brings the statewide community together around upcoming shows, artist stories and new collaborations. Organizers can submit an event, share a flyer, outline compensation and recruit opening acts. Music fans can discover approved listings by city, date and genre.

Approved artists can join the connections board. Organizers may offer complimentary tickets to verified Academy members, with clear quantities and reservation limits.

Eligible approved events receive a complimentary Event of the Year submission. That consideration is an opportunity, not a guarantee of nomination or winning. Social and newsletter coverage remains an editorial decision.
